Senior Administrator: Reman Planning

Komatsu South Africa is seeking a Senior Administrator: Reman Planning to join our Remanufacturing Division. The Senior Administrator: Reman Planning is a critical role within the Remanufacturing Division, responsible for ensuring the efficient and accurate planning and coordination of component-related activities. This role requires a highly organised and detail-oriented individual with strong analytical and communication skills. The Senior Planning Administrator will play a key part in optimising workflow, maintain inventory, and supporting the overall operational effectiveness of the division.

Job responsibilities:

• Ensuring on-time repairs and rebuilds of component equipment:
• Creates detailed schedules, manages resources, plans for contingencies, and coordinates quality control.
• Maintaining inventory accuracy and stock availability:
• Tracks inventory; forecasts demand, optimizes stock levels, and manages component locations.
• Improving planning and scheduling efficiency:
• Analyzes processes, implements improvements, and ensures clear communication and coordination.
• Delivering accurate and timely reports:
• Collects and analyzes data, generates reports, and maintains accurate documentation.
• Reducing component downtime:
• Plans proactive maintenance, ensures rapid response to breakdowns, conducts root cause analysis, and utilizes monitoring tools like Komtrax.
