Credit Controller

Blue Chip Market Leaders require an experienced Credit Controller to join their busy Accounts Team. to manage the Credit Risk and ensure disciplined Credit management.

Duties include :

• Set, maintain and enforce the credit policy, including credit limits, payment terms and customer risk assessment, and ensure ongoing compliance to it

• Ensure compliance with Delegation of Authority (DOA) requirements

• Manage the relationship with the credit insurer

• Manage credit risk, credit insurance, securities and legal recoveries where required

• Ensure all legal documentation is received in full and on time, correctly signed and filed electronically

• Maintain system accuracy to ensure alignment with insured and uninsured credit limits

• Produce weekly and monthly reporting on debtor exposures and credit limits

• Ensure compliance with Financial Intelligence Centre (FIC) requirements

• Partner closely with commercial teams to balance growth with disciplined credit governance

Qualifications and Experience :-

• Relevant qualification in credit management, credit control or commercial law

• At least 3 years’ experience in a similar credit control or credit ma• Communication and Negotiation: able to engage customers, insurers and internal stakeholders effectively

• Financial Acumen: strong understanding of credit terms and commercial law

• Attention to Detail: meticulous record-keeping and documentation discipline

Problem Solving: creative, practical thinking to resolve credit and recovery issuesnagement role, ideally within a medium-sized company
