Corporate Travel Agent/Consultant

Our client, a well-established and progressive manufacturing company seeks to employ a vibrant and experienced Corporate Travel Agent to join their progressive and expanding professional team specifically to focus on national and international travel of project staff, management and executives We are ideally seeking a Travel Consultant/Agent, who has a background in servicing the corporate sector, not the hospitality sector, who has worked within the international market and who is able to be on standby every second weekend for travel and accommodation emergencies. KEY REQUIREMENTS TO MEET FOR CONSIDERATION:

• You will have completed Matric coupled with 3-5 years experience in international corporate travel and related requirements for project staff, as well as management and executive.
• You will have experience in managing travel, visa and related travel administration in a organized manner, as well as being highly articulate, communicative and able to thrive under pressure
• Proven experience in planning and coordinating multiple travel requests in a fast paced environment, which will include booking flights, ensuring safe and suitable accommodation bookings, as well as transportation for ground travel aand travel assurance confirmations
• You will have experience in keeping meticulous documentation, have a keen sense of adhering to company budgets and monitoring and tracking expenses, as well as providing support to the senior agent and travellers.
• You will have proficiency in travel booking systems (Amadeus or Galileo).
• Fluency in English is critical.
• You must have a valid driver’s licence, own car and a clear criminal and credit record
