Supplier Management Administrator

Our client in the mining sector is recruiting an experienced Supplier Management Administrator on a maternity cover contract to provide administrative support and coordination to the Supplier Management Specialist. The role focuses on overseeing supplier management activities, managing compliance with legislative requirements, and maximizing supplier performance across the organization.
The successful candidate will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to select, accredit, and develop suppliers, fostering effective partnerships and driving organizational growth.
Key Responsibilities:
• Facilitate timely and accurate reporting for all supplier management activities, ensuring data integrity and consistency.
• Prepare and maintain reports on supplier expenditure, performance metrics, and risk assessments to support decision-making.
• Support the implementation of commercial and supply chain strategies by aligning with business objectives, executing action plans, conducting audits, verifying compliance, and resolving issues in collaboration with management.
• Assist the Supply Chain team with supplier onboarding and offboarding, ensuring all registration processes are completed efficiently and in line with company policies.
• Provide support in conducting supplier due diligence, ensuring all required checks and documentation are completed prior to engagement.
• Serve as a key liaison between suppliers and internal stakeholders, facilitating communication and resolving operational queries.
• Ensure B-BBEE certificates are obtained and updated timeously, accurately captured in SAP, and properly documented, including engaging with suppliers and internal teams, as well as monitoring and reporting on certificate status.
• Maintain and verify supplier documentation compliance, ensuring all records meet regulatory and internal governance standards.
