Qualifications & Experience

• Degree in Accounting, Property Studies, Real Estate, Finance, Economics, Commerce or a related field
• 5–7 years’ experience in an asset management, property analysis, consulting or property finance role
• Exposure to retail, commercial, mixed-use and/or student portfolios advantageous
• Strong Excel and financial modelling and presentation skills
• Gauteng market knowledge will be beneficial

Key performance indicators:

1. Asset-level Actual vs Budget performance reports, variance analysis and corrective action tracking
2. Vacancy, lease expiry and income improvement strategy preparation and execution thereof
3. Capex spend vs approved budget and timeline tracking
4. Feasibility and ROI analysis outcomes vs actual performance
5. Asset strategy implementation tracking reports
6. Portfolio dashboards and management reporting packs
7. Ad hoc analysis and Exco submission quality and turnaround times
