Solar Technician/ Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Conduct site assessments to determine optimal panel placement
• Install and wire solar PV systems, including inverters and batteries
• Connect systems to the electrical grid and perform safety testing
• Diagnose and repair faults in solar systems and components
• Perform routine maintenance and inspections
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal codes
• Maintain accurate records of installations and service calls
• Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies
• Training other engineering personnel.

Requirements:

• A minimum of an HND in electrical engineering/related field.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and listening skills.
• Practical knowledge and experience in solar design, installations, troubleshooting, and repairs of solar components is of high advantage.
• A trade test is an added advantage.
• Steadfast dedication to ethical codes of practice.
• Willingness and determination for growth and learning.
• Installation.
• AutoCAD.
• System testing and maintenance.
• Tool handling and safety protocol.
