About the Role
As a Service Advisor at Audi Sandton, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring exceptional customer service and satisfaction within our automotive service department. Your primary focus will be to facilitate communication between customers and the service team, making sure that every customer receives top-notch support throughout their service experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the primary point of contact for customers seeking vehicle service and maintenance.
- Assess customer needs, providing accurate information on services and repair procedures.
- Schedule service appointments, ensuring optimal use of workshop capacity.
- Prepare cost estimates and communicate service recommendations clearly to customers.
- Maintain detailed records of customer interactions, service performed, and vehicle history.
- Address customer inquiries and resolve concerns promptly to ensure a positive experience.
- Collaborate with technicians and service team to uphold high service standards and workflow efficiency.
- Follow up with customers post-service to ensure complete satisfaction and encourage ongoing relationships.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Service Advisor or in a similar customer-facing role within the automotive industry.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on customer service excellence.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and maintain organized records in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with automotive repair processes and terminology is essential.
- Proficiency in using service management software and basic computer skills are required.
- A valid driver's license is necessary to assist customers and evaluate vehicle conditions.
Preferred Qualifications
- Certifications in automotive service management or related fields would be advantageous.
- Experience with premium automotive brands, particularly Audi, is preferred.
- Training or experience in customer relationship management (CRM) systems is a plus.
- Bilingual abilities may enhance communication with a diverse clientele.
