Deal Captain

An exciting opportunity exists for a Deal Captain to join our client's high-performing team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in driving transactions forward, ensuring all parties remain aligned and critical milestones are achieved efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the end-to-end coordination of transaction activities
• Maintain transaction schedules and monitor key deliverables
• Liaise with clients, legal teams, financial advisors, and other stakeholders
• Coordinate due diligence requests and documentation management
• Track risks, dependencies, and action items throughout the deal lifecycle
• Assist in the preparation of presentations, reports, and transaction materials
• Support negotiations and transaction closing activities
• Ensure smooth communication between all parties involved

Requirements

• Degree in Finance, Commerce, Accounting, Economics, Law, or a related discipline
• Proven experience in a transaction-focused environment
• Strong understanding of deal processes and commercial transactions
• Excellent organisational and multitasking skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to manage competing deadlines and priorities
• Professional communication and relationship management skills
