Accounting Admin Assistant (Temporary 5 to 6 Months)

We own 2 filling stations in Hekpoort. Both fueling stations consist of a forecourt as well as a convinience store. We are looking for a candidate who will be hands on and assist us with not only the accounting aspect of our business but also assit with operational tasks.
ROLE:
The Position is temporary 5 month contract with the possibility of extention of one addiitonal month depending on the business needs on expiration of the contract.
GARAGE:
- 1) Check cash on cash ups (Investigate any shortages)
- 2) Prepare cash to be banked
- 3) GRV fuel deliveries
- 4) Stock counts (Daily)
- 5) GRVing stock on Vend and checking stock when it arrives / Processing returns as well as checking the accuracy of GRV's on Vend once processed
- 6) Investigating stock issues
- 7) Accounting function:
- Debtors – Sending Invoices
- Creditors
- Bank reconciliations
- Preparing payments & loading these on the bank
- Recording depreciation
- Monthly processing
- Recording expenses and depreciation
- Assisting with the preparation of Management accounts
- Maintaining FAR
- Balance sheet recons
