Reach truck

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Reach Truck Operator to join our warehouse team. The Reach Truck Operator will be responsible for efficiently moving, stacking, and retrieving materials within the warehouse using a reach truck, ensuring accuracy and maintaining a safe working environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate reach trucks to move pallets and materials to and from storage locations.
• Load and unload goods from vehicles, storage racks, and production lines safely.
• Inspect reach truck equipment before use to ensure proper functioning.
• Maintain accurate inventory records by scanning items or documenting movements.
• Follow all safety guidelines and warehouse procedures to minimize accidents and damage.
• Assist with general warehouse tasks as needed, such as housekeeping and stock organization.
• Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to supervisors promptly.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience operating reach trucks or similar warehouse equipment.
• Valid forklift or reach truck operator certification/license.
• Good physical condition and ability to lift heavy items when necessary.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Basic math and inventory skills.

Working Conditions:

• Work is typically performed in a warehouse environment.
• May require standing, walking, bending, and lifting for extended periods.
• Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) such as safety shoes, gloves, and high-visibility clothing is mandatory.
