Our online retail business has been expanding rapidly. The opportunity has arisen for fulltime and part-time members of staff to join our team, with the responsibility of supporting the development and operations of the online retail business. The role will include website development tasks, stock and financial control is an essential part of this admin role and together with administering key supplier and service provider accounts. The role will later involve managing and processing orders, and further developing into the supply chain side of the business, together with associated customer service and experience management. Primary responsibility will be administration of ecommerce back office, customer relations, financial admin, stock admin and supply chain order support.
Responsibilities:
- Manage all courier orders for dispatch, delivery, tracking of orders till goods receipt by customers. Fair knowledge of logistics supply chains will be critical.
- Respond to routine customer enquiries via e-mail and telephone; Customer service experience is key skill required preferably in retail environmentse in Durban Kitnation about 4 weeks ago no reply
- Identify non-routine customer enquiries and escalate as appropriate;
- Manage stock levels and adjust pricing using in-house electronic stock-control systems;
- Financial administration: book-keeping, stock control, receipts, payments, creditors, debtors etc.
- Uploading of new product lines on ecommerce and social media platforms
- Monitor listings and take action on under-performing product lines;
- Resolve missing/damaged items or returns queries
- Help to maintain the website products status across ecommerce sales channels
- Provide advice to customers both by email, face-to-face and by phone.
- Place stock orders and administer warranty claims with suppliers.
The successful applicant might have previous sales order processing experience. Candidates from other backgrounds, including recent graduates, will also be considered on merit. Experience in financial administration and stock control is critical.
The role is a high performance fast output and deliverable based. Salary is coupled to measurable outputs considering the remote nature.
