Officer – Supporter Relations at The School of St Jude The School of St Jude is looking for a qualified and passionate Officer – Supporter Relations to join its team in Arusha, Tanzania. Key responsibilities The Officer – Supporter Relations will be responsible for: Supporting the delivery of personalized, quality donor stewardship, including heartfelt thank-you emails, thoughtful gifts, and special communications. Collaborating with teams across St Jude’s to coordinate supporter updates, produce communication materials, and track supporter engagement. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records in the supporter database and trackers to ensure donors receive timely and relevant information. Assisting with planning and preparation for supporter tours and Zoom events, including background research and preparation of materials. Monitoring communications against KPIs, supporting reporting, and sharing feedback to improve engagement with global supporters. Required qualifications and experience Applicants should have: A diploma or degree in communications, marketing, development, or a related field. Excellent English writing skills that are clear, engaging, and professional, with strong attention to tone and detail. Experience working in donor relations, customer service, fundraising, or project coordination. Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and timelines. Confidence using Microsoft Office, especially: Word Outlook Teams Excel Experience in supporter databases or email design platforms will be an added advantage.
