Surveyor

Responsibilities and Duties Coordinating tasks according to priorities and plans Excavation Volume computation Conduct daily site measurements. Leveling design preparations Undertaking topographical survey Confirming levels Undertaking alignment of drainage, sewers and storm water. Sewer and storm water profile design Setting out structures Perform basic engineering surveying on site. Assist with construction staking or site layout surveys Provide technical expertise to other individuals in the company Preparing daily, weekly and monthly survey reports Extracting coordinates and data preparations for setting out Liaising with consulting surveyors during design changes Any other tasks assigned to you by your supervisor.
Academic Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Surveying, Geomatics, Civil Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience). Professional Certification (or progress towards certification) in surveying is highly desirable Strong proficiency in the use of modern surveying tools (Total Stations, GPS, Laser Scanners, etc.). A minimum of 2-5 years of experience in surveying for construction projects, including experience in both field and office work.
