A manufacturing company is seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Officer in Malmesbury.To ensure products consistently meet quality, food safety, legal, and customer requirements through effective implementation, monitoring, and continuous improvement of food safety and quality systems.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain and verify Food Safety Management System (FSMS) requirements.
Conduct quality control checks, sampling, inspections, and trend analysis.
Perform internal audits and support external audits.
Conduct hygiene, sanitation, allergen, and microbiological verification activities.
Investigate customer complaints, non-conformances, and implement corrective actions.
Monitor compliance with customer specifications and regulatory requirements.
Support new product launches, trials, and product improvement projects.
Maintain quality documentation, records, and reports.
Supervise Quality Controllers and coordinate daily quality activities.
Ensure compliance with SHEQ, food safety, and hygiene standards.
Minimum Requirements
Diploma in Food Technology (required).
Degree in Food Science (preferred).
1–2 years' experience in a technical FMCG environment advantageous.
1–2 years' supervisory experience advantageous.
Strong attention to detail, report writing, computer literacy, and problem-solving skills.
