Key Responsibilities:
- Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities, partnerships, and client accounts
- Develop and execute marketing strategies and campaigns to build VM Consult's brand and market presence
- Plan and deliver corporate events, strategic convenings, and client-facing engagements end-to-end
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, sponsors, and strategic partners
- Manage event budgets, vendor contracts, and logistics for all programs and events
- Track business development pipeline, marketing performance, and event outcomes, reporting regularly to leadership
- Represent VM Consult at industry events, networking forums, and client meetings
- Liaise with the wider GOLDCard Group on shared branding, resources, and cross- company opportunities
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or a related field
- 4–6 years of experience in business development, marketing, or event management
- Strong track record of building client relationships and securing new business
- Hands-on experience planning and executing corporate events or strategic convenings
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-management skills
- Creative, results-driven mindset with strong attention to brand and detail
- Proficiency in MS Office and marketing/CRM tools
- A Master’s degree in a related discipline will be an added advantage
