Responsibilities:

Leadership and Management:

  • Provide vision, direction, and leadership to achieve the school's mission and objectives.
  • Develop and implement the school's strategic and annual improvement plans.
  • Foster a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment.
  • Promote teamwork, professionalism, and ethical conduct among staff.


Academic Leadership:

  • Supervise teaching and learning to ensure high educational standards.
  • Monitor curriculum implementation and assessment practices.
  • Support teachers through mentoring, coaching, and professional development.
  • Analyze student performance data and implement strategies for continuous improvement.


Staff Management:

  • Recruit, supervise, appraise, and support teaching and non-teaching staff.
  • Allocate duties and monitor staff attendance and performance.
  • Organize staff meetings and professional development programs.
  • Address staff welfare issues and promote a positive work culture.


Student Welfare and Discipline:

  • Ensure students receive quality education in a safe and supportive environment.
  • Implement and enforce school rules, policies, and disciplinary procedures.
  • Promote student attendance, well-being, and personal development.
  • Handle student disciplinary matters fairly and consistently.


Financial and Resource Management:

  • Prepare and manage the school's budget.
  • Ensure effective use and accountability of school resources.
  • Oversee procurement, maintenance, and security of school facilities and equipment.
  • Seek opportunities for resource mobilization and school development.


Parent and Community Relations:

  • Build and maintain positive relationships with parents, guardians, and the community.
  • Communicate school policies, achievements, and challenges effectively.
  • Represent the school in meetings, community events, and official functions.
  • Encourage parental involvement in students' education.


Compliance and Administration:

  • Ensure compliance with government education policies, regulations, and standards.
  • Maintain accurate school records and prepare required reports.
  • Ensure health, safety, and child protection policies are effectively implemented.
  • Coordinate inspections, audits, and accreditation processes where applicable.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience.
  • A minimum of a degree in a related field.

Location: Ibadan

Remuneration: NGN 150,000 Monthly
