Warehouse Supervisor

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Warehouse Supervisor to manage storekeeping, inventory control, and logistics operations at our power plant site in Kaolack , Senegal.

The role is responsible for ensuring the timely availability of spare parts, tools, and materials required for plant operations while maintaining accurate inventory records and coordinating logistics activities to support maintenance schedules and operational efficiency. The successful candidate will play a key role in optimizing warehouse processes, ensuring compliance with safety standards, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

Main Responsibilities

• Receive incoming goods, check for damage and for discrepancies between goods, purchase orders and invoices.
• Accurately sort, label, and store goods; arrange storage to optimize warehouse space.
• Pack, label and dispatch outgoing goods with relevant documents.
• Assist to maintain and update inventory records in SAP and Maximo computerized inventory systems in close coordination with Maintenance planner and Agreement Manager.
• To retrieve stored information to respond to enquiries for example on stock transfer, inventory levels or item history.
• Perform physical inventory check of all materials, equipment, parts, tools, products or supplies in stock and periodic reconciliation of stock according to applicable guideless /as per Agreement.
• Manage and maintain the calibrated tools inventory, ensuring updated certification.
• Reporting discrepancies between physical counts and computer records.
• Perform other routine office activities according to the site established procedures. These activities may include updating stock cards and inventory records; and completing receipt, transfer, inward, and outward gate pass forms.
• Operate forklifts and/or other warehouse machinery according to process / EHS instructions and licenses (when required).
• Keep the store or warehouse area in clean-cut condition according to guidelines to ensure work safety and ergonomics (5S practice).
• Assist in stock taking audits as per Agreement Management process.
• Other various tasks as assigned.
• Dangerous goods/ Chemicals/ Electronics / other special parts to be handled as per MSDS guidelines.
