Ready for your next tender?

What to know

When must the certificates be supplied?

Depending on the country, with the bid or only at award. In Côte d'Ivoire the winner has 15 days after notification to produce them, or the contract is withdrawn.

How long is a certificate valid?

The tender file says, often less than three months. In Morocco they must have been issued less than a year ago. Request them late enough to still be valid at the deadline.

Why is a certificate refused?

Almost always for a return not filed or a contribution unpaid. In Côte d'Ivoire a missing yearly salary return (DISA) blocks the CNPS certificate.

What about subcontractors?

They usually must meet the same conditions. In Senegal the new Labour Code requires their certificate of social compliance before signing, then every six months.
